The Little Mermaid: Trailer Teaser

Through the recent D23 Expo 2022 event. Disney has officially released a teaser trailer for The Little Mermaid.

As we know. One of the most anticipated live-action adaptations of the Disney animated classics was The Little Mermaid (1989). And how can we not say so?

The live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid has been announced since late 2015. At that time, the online media that always provided updates for this project was The Hollywood Reporter (THR).

Then the feeling of anticipation increased when in early July 2019. Actress Halle Bailey (Grown-ish) has been officially announced as the main character, Ariel.

Now we can say that all the anticipation for this live-action adaptation is going to get even crazier. This is because recently through the D23 Expo 2022 event, Disney officially released a teaser trailer for The Little Mermaid.

Yes guys, that’s almost 1.5 minutes of footage from the teaser trailer for The Little Mermaid. And if we look at it, the visual concept (special effects) of this film is okay.

And when finally the teaser trailer for The Little Mermaid premiered the figure of Bailey as Ariel. For me personally, I was very skeptical at first, to be honest I was very surprised.

The reason is from the overall appearance, he looks suitable. And when we look at it, yes we see Bailey’s version of Ariel. There is no sense or desire at all to compare it with the animated version of Ariel. And yes, I think it’s “ojo compared” anyway.

Then what made me even more surprised and amazed by Bailey’s Ariel. It was when the teaser trailer for The Little Mermaid featured him singing part of the lyrics to the song ‘Part of Your World’ (1989).

‘Part of Your World’ is the main soundtrack of the animated film The Little Mermaid. Who brought it first was actress and vocalist, Jodi Benson. Benson himself is the voice of Ariel in the animated film version of the original.

Well, because it’s just a teaser. It’s natural and it’s a shame that this teaser doesn’t yet feature other supporting characters.

But yeah, let’s just be patient. Specifically, be patient until the full trailer for this film is released in the near future. Or until the film is released on May 26, 2023. Now, how do you feel about this teaser trailer?
